The evacuation slide of Transavia's only Airbus A321neo was accidentally activated at Barcelona-El Prat airport on Monday.

The A321NEO, registration PH-YHZ, has been flying for Transavia for two months now, but has already experienced a few minor incidents. The aircraft flew on Monday morning as HV5131 from Schiphol to Barcelona-El Prat airport. At the gate, one of the evacuation slides was then activated for an unknown reason. Photos from the terminal show that this is the rear slide on the left side of the aircraft. The Airbus was actually supposed to fly back to Schiphol at ten o'clock, but this was postponed. Ultimately, the aircraft left for the Netherlands again around half past five in the afternoon.

It is not the first time that the A321NEO has been involved in a minor incident. For example, the aircraft was damaged in the Airbus factory because a flashlight had gotten between the flaps. Due to the incident, delivery was postponed by several weeks. Five days after the first commercial flight of the PH-YHZ, the machine was back on the ground at Faro Airport. The machine collided with a bird during landing, resulting in a seriously damaged nose cone.
