On 22 April 2024, the Royal Air Force (RAF) Typhoon Display Team revealed the aircraft which they will be using this season. It is 29 squadron (RAF Coningsby) Typhoon FGR4 ZJ913, which has been adorned in a World War II style green/grey camouflage colour scheme. Only the nose cone remains in the standard grey colours applied to the operational Typhoon-fleet.

Over the wings and rear fuselage, black/white D-Day invasion stripes have been applied to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the landings in Normandy. Tactical Code FM-G has been painted on both sides of the full colour RAF-roundel on the fuselage.

This in honour of P/O Denzel Jenkins (257 squadron) who flew a Hawker Typhoon Ib in these markings on 6 June 1944. P/O Jenkins would eventually become the Commanding Officer (CO) of 257 squadron. Finally, ZJ913 has been lovingly nicknamed Moggy by the display team.

F/L David "Turbo" Turnbull of 29 squadron has the honour of being the RAF Typhoon display pilot this season, which for the team will commence during the Midlands Air Festival on 31 May 2024. If you want to catch this jet during one of its displays, please see the below 2024 season agenda (which might be subject to change depending on operational requirements).
